Pier Michigan Decks offers free 3D Design rendering with every deck build.
After contacting Pier Michigan Decks, we will schedule an on-site visit and discuss the overall scope of your project.
Following initial consultation, our team of in-house designers will take our client's dream and turn it into a vision.
Once the design is approved by our customer, the construction plans are sent in to the local ordinances for permitting.
When it comes to building a new deck, we always start with a rock solid foundation. The typical deck foundation consists of footings, posts, beams, and joists. Quality workmanship and attention to detail at this stage is crucial. We take pride in our work from start to finish.
Our crews take the required steps to prevent any unnecessary yard disturbance. We utilize state-of-the-art ground protection mats when maneuvering our small equipment.
Helical pier footings are standard on all of our new builds. This fully engineered footing system ensures that we meet the necessary load-bearing capacities in your soil.
Moisture intrusion prevention starts early in our build process. Taking the extra steps to ensure the longevity of the framing components will add years to the life of your deck. When framing with wood, we do this by applying an adhesive flashing tape to all horizontal surfaces (tops of posts, beams, and joists). Combining this with premium ledger flashing at the house guarantees our customers with a deck that will last the test of time (and Michigan winters).
